Trillian, ah the good 'ol days. I used to be a Trillian fan until I discovered Pidgin, which is a lot more modular and lightweight. The only thing it lacks is webcamming, but I don't really webcam all that much so I don't mind.

I haven't put any instant messenger on this computer. I remember that the Yahoo one wreaked havoc on my old XP box, but whether it was the app itself, or something I did, I was never sure. So once I got this computer, I've been wary of them, although one would come in handy.

I take it you used it back in its 3.0 days? Its a lot better now that its in 4.1 (soon to be a 4.2 alpha/beta released).

I use pidgin on Ubuntu, thats it. Anyways, done being off-topic.

Never used a Messenger program. Not really sure why just couldn't see any reason. When you live in "Hooterville" their are not a great many computer geeks, or for that matter anyone to communicate with on a computer.

Installed the leaked build. The new Messenger and Mail are awesome. Can't wait for the Facebook support to arrive to Messenger. Loving the ribbon UI in Mail. Photo Gallery and Movie Maker have also been revamped. Well done the Windows Live team. I think IE9 development should be given to the Windows Live team.

I keep getting these error codes no matter what I do?
I've tried installing this Wave 4 BETA on three different Windows7 Ultimate 64bit systems now, but they all run into these errors?

I even tried to install it on a fresh Windows7 Ultimate 64bit install too see if that worked, but still the same errors?

tried it and what a faff to get back to WL 2009, uninstalled it, did microsoft clean up utility but in t'end i resorted to deleting registry keys (am not recommending that by t'way). it looked nice but i couldn't send emails which i why i chose to revert back. looking forward to final release tho.

The Zune-themed interface was nice at first, but it just makes everything bigger than it should be. I just don't understand why you'd use one IM program per service when you can be running a lightweight client such as Pidgin or Trillian, which not only support addons, but are a hell of a lot lower on resources.

Gmail and GTalk I believe are supported on Trillian, wave, they have no plans for Wave.

I'm fed up with having so many different forms of communication. It takes all my time keeping track of em all.
