Hi folks I have win 7 x86 ultimate and every time I start live mail I get the following message Please wait while windows configures live mail, then mail starts. I do not see why it needs to configure each time (maybe only 2 mins apart) :(

Is this supposed to happen and if not does anyone know how to fix it?:banghead:

Thanks in advance

Are you going to mail.live.com to use Hotmail via your browser or are you using the downloaded mail client called "Windows Live Mail"?

If it's WLM all I can say is it shouldn't do that. Go to Programs and Features, and do a repair of "Windows Live Essentials". It should repair the installation of whatever components of Essentials you have installed, including Mail.

As far as I know I am using WLM. I tried a repair as suggested but no change. Any other ideas?

I am a bit worried about doing anything to WLM in case I lose my emails etc
