Windows Live Mail problem

Hi, new to this forum so bear with me. On the 12/7/12 my emails stopped going into Hotmail inbox. I looked all over and discovered they were now going into Windows Live Mail inbox. Can anyone tell me why and how to get them to start receiving in my Hotmail inbox again...please. Cheers

Probably some settings were changed, log in hotmail and do the following:
(1) Click on your name (on the top right corner)
(2) Click on Options
(3) Click on "Pop and deleting downloaded messages"
(4) Check the attached image and select "Don't let another program delete messages from Hotmail. (If your other program is set to "delete messages from the server," we'll simply move them to a special POP folder. They won't be deleted.)" and save changes

Let us know if the problem still persists.

Hi. Thanks for advice. Done that and sent myself an email from hubbys email account and it went straight to Windows Live mail inbox. Flippin infuriating. Maybe i could just stick with Live Mail anyway, its probably easier. Cheers for help.
