I am using WLM with windows 7 32bit. I cannot create message rules as I do not have a tools button

Move mouse to the tab/key next to the paint brush and click then select show menu bar.

I already have the menu bar displayed. I do not have a "tool" button. Is there a way to do this withour the tool button? I have also gone to the "customize toolbar" the tool button is not there

can you take a screen shot using the snipping tool and post a shot of it. In mine I have file, edit, view, go, tools, actions and help. We are talking about the menu bar...just the tool tab is missing correct. If so, it could be some sort of corruption and a uninstall/reboot and reinstall might be in order.

I got it Your idea of an uninstall/install was good. When I went to the uninstall button it gave me the option to repair. The repair brought back the tool button

Most excellent! I should have mentioned that fact but I tend to forget stuff....as the wife tells me "they make medicine for that". Glad you got it solved.
