Windows Live Mail

I have a new HP pavilion pc with windows 7. I set up (I think) Windows Live Mail and I do receive e-mails. The problem is when I go to Windows Live Mail, I get a screen that distorts my background and the email headers are a bright blue with white letters that I can't read. when I x-out of mail the screen goes black and then restores to the normal background. Any help is appreciated.

Is your graphics card updated to the latest driver? If your system Specs are correct, yours will be here: Original Intel Graphics Driver HP Pavilion p6-2033w Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

Did you check windows update for any updates to your system?

Hi Dusty,

Thanks for the reply. My driver is updated, however the only time the background distorts is when I'm in Windows Live Mail, so I'm sure it's an e-mail issue.

as well as getting those windows updates, you might try reinstalling it if it is part of security essentials. If its only in hotmail, then that is a different story.
