Can you export windows live mail folder from vista to windows 7, without losing the password and the emails that i have. and will it work without setting it all up again, I need to this to work for my work.

You can export your messages to a folder. Use Microsoft Exchange format. When you import them Windows Live Mail will recognize them but will create "Imported" folder and put them there. As far as account settings if Windows mail exports them in .iaf format you should be good to go.
