Is there anyway to have it loaded and when you minimize have it go into the task-bar like in xp/or vista?

I tried to set it to run in vista mode but this does not seem to work.

It works fine for me. You need to go to the shortcut in the start menu and run it in compatibility mode for Vista, Vista SP1, or Vista SP2. I have done it several times. If you're having problems....just find the .exe and set it to run in compatibility that way. Hope this helps.
