Windows Live Messenger annoyance

Whenever I log on to Windows Live Hotmail through Bing.com the Windows Live Messenger program always starts, and I don't want this to happen. I tried looking for a setting in the WLM and Windows Live Hotmail on the site, but couldn't find anything.

Any help?

If you have WLM installed it will do that because they probably think you forget you have it installed, I do not believe there is any way to prevent this aside from uninstalling WLM.

Microsoft is strange that way, we all learn to live with it. =P
