Windows Live messenger crashes on Logon

I'm pretty sure the reason that you couldn't upgrade your W7 Beta to RC was because Microsoft has disabled it.
I remember reading in the instructions to NOT upgrade and do a fresh install.

I also have the windows live crash issue. For me it only crashes on logon, I can go and start it from the 'Start' menu with no problems. it'll sign on fine and works fine until the next reboot.

This is a pretty old thread to be posting to and not many ppl will see it. You can always start a new thread if you need to, or peply to a current ine.

BTW you can upgrade win 7 7000 to win 7 7100, but it really isn't recommended.
