my windows media player seems to be playing the visual about half a second faster than the actual sound. how i came about this theory is that i opened up WMP12 and VLC at the same time and got the sound to match perfect, as i would see WMP12 skip a frame faster than VLC. I noticed this when i first installed 7 that there lips were a little out of sync and i convinced my self that it was just the movie, or show. but then i finally did some tesintg. i also noticed that WMP12 plays the shows / movies alot more sharper with better coloring, idk if there is some sort of filtering that they have on which is causing all this or what. here is a screen shot of the picture difference between the 2. later on i will try and get a fraps capture of the videos playing at the same time with WMP12 being a frame faster. I forgot to mention it also lags when i minimize it and bring it back up... then it fixes it self.
