Hello my friends!!!!
nice to find a great forum like this for the windows 7 !!!

I have 2 problems with wmp and im wondering if someone knows a solution :)

problem 1: when i open an audio file it opens with wmp 32 bit? why????
know i made a wmp64 shortcut and i first open wmp64 and then drag the audio files in order to have 64bit!

any way to make wmp64 the default player?

problem 2: no wmp toolbar :( any way to get it back???
it was very helpful because i was able to adjust the volume, to move forward - backward and to have artist-title information very fast without to have to bring all the wmp window up!!

:DThank you very much:D

Hi stampler, welcome to the forums, sorry for the late reply (leaked build LOL).

That's some strange errors you've got there, the only thing I can suggest at this stage is a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

This will repair your computer without deleting your user files & settings.

Hope it helps :)

What errors?

If you want to change the default player from 32-bit to 64-bit you can use this: Windows Media Player (WMP) - Vista Forums

Wouldn't recommend it though, there are some play issues when using a 64-bit player (make sure you download a 64-bit codec pack (such as Win7 codec pack))

For the WMP toolbar, I believe the only way to get it back would be to downgrade to WMP11.

1. 32-bit is the default player because it is more compatible with most codecs. The 64-bit is not better or faster than 32-bit.
2. As for toolbar i m still looking for answer.
