Solved Windows Media Player holding focus

Hi

My WMP 12 has started holding focus for some reason. If I try and bring another window to the front WMP steals it back, also I cannot minimise it from the taskbar, only from the minimise button.

The problem started last night, no changes to my system that I am aware of, it has not cleared today after a re-boot.

It's annoying the **** out of me as I do a lot of vide editing and checking the results in WMP.

any ideas
