Windows media player has included in it a nice little .exe file that automatically starts every time I bring my computer out of Sleep Mode.

Within 5 minutes, this little program is easily using up 80% of my RAM, making it impossible for me to smoothly run my PC.

I have tried everything I can to uninstall, delete, and get rid of this, but nothing works.

When I try to delete the whole "Windows Media Player" folder from my Program Files I get a warning saying I need Permission from TrustedInstaller. Same thing happens when I try to delete just this one program inside of the file.

I have gone into my Network and Sharing Center in my homegroup and set it to where ALL media streaming is blocked, as is any other type of sharing. I used to use this to Stream movies to my 360, so it kinda sucks that I had to do this. BUT, this temporarily fixes it. Turning off all my sharing, then opening up Task Manager, and getting End Task on this item will usually turn it off for about 2 hours, then it comes back, and slowly works its way up my list of programs, eating up my RAM as it goes.

I am wondering if there is an permanent solution to rid myself of this pesky annoying program, so that I can stop having to end it in Task Manager

Wish I knew it was that dang simple! :P

Logged in to my admin account, as per another suggestion from this forum, I ruin my everyday computing in a limited account, so as to help keep me safe, typed it in, went in changes startup options to disable, and went to the recoveries tab and changed them all to do nothing.

Thanks for the help!

I have a feeling Host Process for Windows Tasks is a kinda important task, or I would ask if there were a way to rid myself of ti also. it usually has like 10 instances running at once, and all combined, they use as much RAM as my FireFox usage does.
