Any MP3 Player That Will Still Sync With Windows Media Player?

Greetings,

It seems various MP3 Players that used to sync with Windows Media Player to create playlists like the Sony Walkman and Sandisk MP3 players - no longer do so with their updated players and now you need to jump through various hoops to create a playlist.

People are complaining about this very thing all over the internet. The old players were great, but the new models are not when it comes to creating playlists and it is incredibly frustrating for people.

Does anyone have a MP3 player that can still be purchased today that will sync with Windows Media Player to create playlists with the songs in the order you want to hear them? Or am I just going to have to find a new way to add my playlists?

I am worried that if I download some new media program like Sony Music Center for example - it will screw up my Windows Media Player playlists and settings by overriding WMP as my default media player. That they are not really compatible, but of course Sony wants me to use their product if I want to make playlists on their player.

I would appreciate any advice or recommendations here.

Thank you.

Windows Music Player is dead. You will need to use something else. It may or may not sync with a Sony, but give Clementine a try. Clementine Music Player

Edit -

Just installed Clementine. It doesn't replace the default handler for music files. In your case WMP.

It may be dead, but like Windows 7 - it is perfect for my needs with the exception of this newer issue.

I think in the case of Sony, they just want you to use their program now Media Go or whatever it is called.

There would be no point in downloading any other media program unless it syncs with an MP3 player. I will look into Clementine.

Thanks.

Yeah, I’ve had this issue with a bunch of videos too, usually happens when the background music isn't mixed properly compared to the dialogue. It’s super annoying when you're trying to hear what someone is saying, especially on tutorials or interviews. Sometimes adjusting your TV or headphone settings, like boosting dialogue mode or tweaking equalizer settings, helps a bit, but it doesn’t always fix it.

Lately, I’ve been playing around with cleaning up some clips myself, mostly just for fun. I use this one editor Convert WEBP Files Online for Free – Movavi that lets you balance audio easily, so voices don’t get drowned out. Picked it up while reading about editing tools for making video content more, let’s say, naked of these distracting issues.
