Windows Media Player Updated problem

After i updated my computer, i got error C00D1199 on my windows media player whenever i try to play a mp3 file. These mp3 used to work on my WMP. There are some files that work while most don't.

Do you have system restore point so that you can backup your computer to the time before updating? Otherwise, you can always download WMP and upgrade what you have??:sarc:

Yea, I do have the system restore point, but because there are a few updates I did, I don't know which one is the problem...

Well, gee, thanks for sharing how you fixed it. Wouldn't wanna help the next guy that comes along and digs up this thread in a search...

Er... sorry... I really don't know how I fixed it...
Although my computer did crash a few times and then it worked somehow... that's all i know...
