windows memory diagnostic

Hello : I ran the windows memory diagnostic program and it found not errors but now the windows memory diagnostic icon is always displayed in the hidden icon area .. I can click on it but it will not do anything .. Ideas ??

You might see if resetting the notification icons may help get rid of it.

Weird after a couple of re-boots it is back .. arrrrgggg

Umm, I suppose other than resetting it again, you can set it to Hide icon and notifications to see if it will stay gone for you. Did it give you any pop-up message with it this time?

I have it set for "hide icon and notifications " - and I still see it .. weird stuff ..

Weird indeed. You might see if running the memory test again may reset it as it should be and get rid of it.
