Hi,

I am using an SDTV as a monitor for our media server. Windows display too large for the screen - window edges are off the screen. This used to be a problem only after running Media Center but now is constant. This is true for either 800x600 or 1024x768 resolutions, which appear to be logical not physical settings. At one time windows did fit properly. There must be setting somewhere that controls this. Can you help?

Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary - Maybe instead of changing the Screen Resolution you should try changing the DPI output by your video card ???? - and whats an SDTV ? Do you mean a "standard definition TV". Whats "standard definition" mean anymore ????

I will see if I can find a DPI setting. SDTV is "Standard Definition" TV which is the old CRT based format.

I should have mentioned the graphics card is an XFX Radeon 4350.

I see your Video Card will support up to 2560 x 1600 resolution on an LCD. Not trying to sound negative here but I don't think you will find any satisfaction with a CRT display. LCD prices have come way down. :):):)
