Windows Not Genuine

I bought my computer from a legit company near my home. Everything has been fine with my Windows 7, even had the nice icon in the corner following my verification for upgrade to the new OS to be released shortly. However, my motherboard had some kind of a problem causing my computer to shut down unexpectedly and frequently, so I moved all my hardware to a new case, including hard drives, installed all the required drivers to continue on a new motherboard and everything was good. Now, a few days ago, I started getting a popup saying my product key is invalid, and then proceeding to give me options to call, buy, or enter a new key. Why would my key have been invalidated solely by placing the OS on a new motherboard?

Simple answer is yes - for licensing purposes the motherboard IS the computer.
Let's have a look at the detail...
Please follow this tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we can see what the problem is.

http://www.sevenforums.com/windows-...ne-activation-issue-posting-instructions.html

Ignore errors produced when clicking on the Copy button - they simply mean that the tool could not create the backup files for some reason. The data is still copied to the clipboard for pasting to your response.

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker from the old case (if you have it) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

here ya go...side note, the original box, and the one i'm using now were both originally OEM installed with Vista 32bit, but when i needed 64bit the same week I bought the computer, I took it back and had him install it for me, and this is the key given to me in that process.

Looks to me like you simply need to use Operator activation and speak to a real live human.

telephone activation (operator calls)
Click on the Start button
in the Search box, type
SLUI 4
and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions, but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you
