Windows not recognizing NVidia GeForce 8400M GT

Hi torrentg, same problem here with Windows pro 8.1... not recognizing this 8400m gt gpu. Can i use the very same customized INF? thanks

OK so I know I am late to the party but the content from the first page worked for me I installed an old win7 driver with the updated RAR for my hardware ids.

made a modified file for:
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0427&SUBSYS_9008104D&REV_A1 VGN-SZ650N

you must disable "driver signature check" to install it. All other steps described on page 1.

Driver works good, even energy savings are functioning!

I really hate SONY for this. I can't use very good NB with modern OS because they can't change two strings and make some certs.
