Windows Orb Changer Delivers Black Screen Of Death

Just installed the Windows Orb Changer application.

Started using it and now my screen has gone completely black.

I no longer have access to anything except a black screen, mouse pointer, and the task manager.

Please help....

How do I uninstall when I only have access to a black screen?

Reboot on safe mode and try to uninstall in there as JonathanV advise to you.

Just press f8 before the window seven splash screen.

Sorry, but I'm not sure how to uninstall program's from the black screen.

I am running safe mode now but still only have access to a black serene and the task manager - which says nothing is running.

1. Open Task Manager, click on File and click on New Task or just press Windows key (on your keyboard) + R.
2. On Run command, type explorer.exe. This will bring you Start Menu to access Control Panel.
3. On Control Panel, click Programs and Features.
4. Uninstall Windows Orb Changer and follow the instructions.

Ok, just tried that... Got an error message that says:

"c:windows\explore.exe is not a valid win 32 application

In this case my suggestion is going to be a little after the fact, but it is generally advisable to avoid "Bells & Whistles" software. Go to the following site and scroll down to the 28 comments regarding the Windows Orb Changer to get an idea of what other users think;

Sorry, I did actually type "explorer.exe"... not "explore.exe".

I have tried several times now with correct spelling... to no avail

3. Choose the restore point before installing Windows Orb Changer.

Couldn't agree more. I have no idea why people risk their system's stability to change something they aren't looking at often anyway.
