Windows Phone 7 or Android

I am looking at getting a smartphone and am considering either Windows Phone 7 because of Xbox Live integration. Or Android because of customizability. iOS is not an option.

I would go for Android. I am not sure how long Windows Phone will last as an operating system. I think the market is already saturated enough by iOS and Android. Although Lumia 800 is quite a stylish catch.

if your only buying it for the xbox integration dont..

take what i say lightly though as i was an early adopter of the win os7 platform in the form of a HTC hd7.
Back then the os was a bit primitive but updates were flowing out slowly and addressed a lot of issues, however the only thing that was useless was the xbox live part, all you could do was sign in, view and message friends.
