Hello

For the last month my computer has been freezing randomly e.g. at the login screen or sometimes every 10-15 mins, and it’s becoming very frustrating for me. Today after searching the internet i found out that disabling some of the services might solve the problem. So after an hour of disabling and enabling services i have found out that the power service is causing the problem, however disabling it removes the option of having sound.
Can anyone help me fix this problem by telling me what the power service is and what can i do to fix it so that i can enable it and have sound.

Thanks very much

ps this is my computer spec's:
windows 7 home preimum 32bit
3.20Ghz intel pentum 4 processor
2Gb RAM
Ati Radeon xpress 200 series (graphic card)

Thanks for the reply, ive searched high and low on google for the solution but some of the results were for power management, power service suppliers and even british gas which has nothing to do with power . Anyway im still puzzled on why the power service is causing the random freezes.

Nevermind i've finally found out what the problem was for causing the freezes and now my computer is running perfectly :D. This alos means that this thread is finished, btw if anyone is having the same problem as me or in the same situation (with the freezing), try changing your power management from balanced to high
