Hi all...I'm new here....
Right,so I'm trying to change the channel on my Sky router,to get better speed. As I go through the process,at a certain point, the 'Windows Security' box pops up and is asking for my username and password...... I've entered my usualusername (which I use for just about every site) , but I can't get the right password.... I've tried the most oft used ones,but eventually it just tells me that I'm 'unauthorised' !
Question is, how to find the correct password or reset it somehow..... anyone help,please ?? Can I get it to tell me what the correct password is ?? (probably not, I suppose.).

I should point out that I'm not particularly savvy when it comes to computers !
Can't ever remember setting any details in Windows Security,if I'm honest....

Hi

The passwords on the sky router sticker.
If you have changed it you will need to reset the router
reset admin password = admin.

It won't be windows it will be the sky router asking for username password that varies depending on what router you have normally if you Google it you can find it

Aah thanks for that guys !.... I hadn't thought of that. It is a windows box that pops up, but I think you're right......The Sky username and password,as per the sticker on the router,have never been changed from new. I shall give that a try tomorrow and will report back.
