Hello, win7 gurus,

Can anyone help me with this message? There are two of the same on my start up screen after reboot.

"Cannot start service from the command line or a debugger period a windows service must first be installed (using installutil.exe) and then started with the ServerExplorer, windows services administrative tool or the NET START command."

I can't tell from your post which service is not starting, but what it sounds like from the error message, it's saying the service in question relies on other services to be running for it to be able to run, and THOSE services are not started.

To see if this is correct, try Admin -> Services -> find the service that is not starting up, then right-click on it -> Properties ... then click the Dependencies tab and see what other services that service depends on. Make sure those services are started, and are set to automatically start.

To get a service to start automatically, right click on it -> Properties and then for Startup Type select Automatic from the field. Click OK. Make sure all required services are done this way. And make sure the main service that started all this is also set to automatic.

Now just to make sure these services CAN start, after configuring them for auto start, click the Start button in the Properties window to start them on the spot.

Now reboot and see if the problem is gone. HTH.

Ok. I will try remms solution first. I know from event viewer too that Security Processor Loader Driver has stopped also and was set to"boot". Should I leave it as a boot process and re-start process? I am in safe mode.
