windows setup problem

Im trying to install windows 7 on my pc what ive put together with parts that ive disregarded because ive replaced all the parts ,basically it a acer aspire m3201.
ok so, im trying to install windows 7 64bit, it lets me install windows but after the installation has finished and ive entered password etc. the computer reboots and posts but it only gets to the part when that little white line in top left corner flashing it just stays flashing and doesnt boot into winidows.
My bios is set to boot into the hdd ,the ram,hdd,cpu is all working corectly i tried it my current pc so is the mobo the problem maybe. the hdd had my music videos etc and a backed up system image backed up on that hdd .
But the HDD was formatted though on my current pc
specs of the computer are..
Acer Aspire M3201
AMD Phenom 9150e 1.8ghz
2gig ddr2 800mhz
basically its all the same parts from the pc i bought a year and a half ago


i told my sister she can have the pc and she got broadband put in because i told her once i put the parts back together this pc will deffo work

please could someone fire off any theories why this could be not booting back into windows after installation
(I also tried installing vista with the exact same results )

Try testing your memory with Memtest86.

ive only the other day took it out of my pc and they were working fine ..
how could that be preventing windows booting on last part of setup after the computer been rebooting a couple of times during setup, surely if it was ram problem the pc wouldnt boot fullstop would it?

RAM problems can sometimes cause such issues like you have been experiencing.

You never know, perhaps you damaged the RAM moving it around.

the pc isnt at my home atm
any other troubleshooting ideas guys what the culprit could be preventing from boot

i tried that using the 7 64bit rtm dvd and it said that the os repair is not available

What do you mean? It ran, and said no errors found, or threw an error before even starting?

it gave me some error message saying it wasnt available
i cant remeber the exact error message

Does Win7DVD find an installation to repair?

Could it be starting up to a tv tuner or video card with another output than monitor? Happens frequently where tv screens or DVI outputs are used.

its connected to a hdtv through hdmi to hdmi from mobo
.
anyway i decided too take my hdd round to see if it boots into my windows
and it did , but would you beieve i dropped thr wd 320gb what was in that computer and its not working now
on either computer
my bios is recognizing it but not showing up when im trying to install windows or just trying to see it alongside my hdd ,and it was previosly showing up before i dropped ,god damn wooden floors
