Windows sound issue!

alright so when im go into the game l4d 2 or any other game and itunes is playing game, the sound volume for both of the programs drops off as u can see in the picture, any help would be great.

yes i dont wanna do that everytime though, why does it even happen?, its not suppoed to

The volume in the game's settings is low therefor doing that when you start it. Raise the volume in the game itself.

no its not, has nothing to do with the volume in game.

Try going into the control panel then hardware and sound, select "change system sounds" then choose the communication tab and set to "do nothing".
