Windows startup hang if wait to long to login.

I have Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and when I start my computer and leave the login screen up for a couple minutes it will freeze up after typing in my password with the little circle icon and will have to restart. Computer will login fine if I sign in within the first minute. Any reason or solution for this?
