Windows Stop Responding Windows Not Working Properly

Hello to all,im new member of this community,
and i would love to know how can i fix that problem,
Ive been facing this about months now,

Im using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit

Im trying to install some games,and i cant install them

My monitor +Mouse freezing for couple minutes and after the stop,i can install them,im so tired of waiting so many hours,But when i download movies that doesnt seem to show up

I checked Sfc /scannow
With Cmd=command prompt
and found out this :CBS.LOG is corrupted.

I Do not know what CBS.LOG Is.

Please help me,i would be greatfull.

Unfortunetaly,i have no money to pay longer for this to fix,
I Gave long time ago about 3 times my motherboard to repair


I did chckdsk even in safe mode is lagging,i dont know what should i do,Yesterday i install some windows updates and i got a brand new problem isnt only that i got not responding but now i also have freeze lag mouse +keyboard not working no reaction....and i dont even use wireless for both ....I would love people to give me some instuctions....and how i can possible solve this ,i got this 6 months now....




A new problem: USB PORT STOP WORKING ON WINDOWS 7

Yesterday,i went to device manager and i was trying to update my mouse
and accidently instead of click on update i click on my mouse usb port disabled,and now i make most of my usb port trash,and i dont think i cant solve it not without help,i trying fixing this myself,I watch people over youtube But nothing seems to worked.I can only use 1 port for my mouse,just mouse

The fact is im afraid reinstall windows Even if i can reinstall them i hope atleast USB port could work,
i dont have so many programs longer,so i dont think would
affect the system isnt it?
But i guess this one solution for it,
If there is another more simplicity,i would love to know it.

Hello and welcome Michael mate two things to try up front
1. A system restore and
2. a chkdsk
both in safe mode if you can get into it.

Hi again is been long,since i post here i have some recent problems a few days ago i was using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit 4gb 340.52 nvidia drivers card,one day everything was fine and after a black out i gave my pc to an expert to repairs it,He did but not so good i supposed he removed something from inside the system and now im using 2gb no more 4gb i have 341.44 drivers card and no longer i have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit but instead of this he upgrade it to windows 7 profesional with 32bit,im looking for explanation how can i restore it from windows 7 profesional to ultimate 64bit,and I wanna add something else apparently this guy add team viewer i never had it before but everytime i go to broswer either Internet or Opera it stays open for 30 seconds or maybe more like 2 minutes and after it closed down by itself,not only that when i try to change language i cant change it is all in greek i want english version i went to clock region location i restart several times my pc and again the welcome screen isnt on english but on greek at the start menu is all in greek,i want that to change,another problem is my pc lags terrible,and is getting hot too easily even my screen my internet motherboard,And im really tired of problems,does that has to do with 2gb that im using now cz if so,i could go to a store and by another one and make it again 4gb How many gb can reach? about 16gb is the menium number? Thank you for your time 4 listening to me,How many "RAM" Can the machine handle? I have a CD That the same person gave it to me, Windows 7 ultimate x86 x64 bit,But if i do so replaced the windows professional with my original version i used to have,will i face the same problems even if i dont longer have 4gb but 2?So i must go buy one i guess

You can change user interface language only on Ultimate and Enterprise versions. If your original Ultimate was licensed you can re-install it. But perhaps it is counterfait (pirated) at the moment. He should have said something and gave you the faulty RAM back if you ask me, did you talk to him (the person that repaired your PC)?

I agree entirely with Gokay mate and will add what the heck is this "professional" doing by just taking out some RAM and then not asking you if you want it replaced? In any case the Windows version you want to run really does need a minimum of 4GB - 3GB would do it but struggle.

Personally I usually have 8GB installed in my machines and when I do I try to get the RAM in a large a capacity as I can ie 1 x 8GB stick or 2x4GB sticks simply because down the track if you have memory problems it is so much simpler to test say one or two sticks than 4x2GB sticks plus the memory is far more likely to be "matched" that is to say the chips on the stick will have come off the same production line.

In danger of getting boring if you bought say a 4GB BLOGGS stick and then 4GB PILLS stick the likelihood of the BLOGGS and PILLS brand being evenly matched in their capabilities is far less than say buying 2x4GB BLOGGs stick/s or 1x 8GB PILLS.

So if you have 2GB of whatever now try and buy the same amount in the same brand - or as I would do buy 4GB of something.

As for the other mess well that bloke should be held accountable.
