Windows Summit 2010 May 25 – 27.

Microsoft has announced that the Windows Summit 2010 is scheduled for May 25 – 27. The Windows Summit is an event dedicated to hardware and software implementations. It is intended for developers that have not started to build on the latest releases of Windows and Internet Explorer.

The summit will focus on Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8, and not on their successors, Windows 8 and IE9. Still, while Window8 is still off in the distance, the same is not the case for the IE9. The Platform Preview is already here and attendees will be able to gain additional insight on the next major release of IE. Noting that the first build of IE9 was just delivered in mid-March 2010 and that the next iteration of the Windows Internet Explorer Platform Preview is scheduled for release eight weeks later, namely for mid-May, developers will be able to view the changes as they are released.

The developers will be able to participate in many different sessions for the three main tracks listed below.
