This is a desperate plea to the Windows 7 team to PLEASE fix the inability to "drag and drop" photos in order to rearrange them in your "My Photos" area! For some reason, this feature does not work, and it is absolutely MADDENING and frustrating to try to group or edit photo placements within either the folders or "My Photos" section!

I am using a new "Eee" netbook running Windows 7, and I bought this version SPECIFICALLY because I was SURE that Windows 7 would totally rock, after my experience and love for Woindows XP on my PC. And then, this.....I could just about scream.

Please, if anyone has a fix in SIMPLE terms--maybe a link, or a download?-- I'm not really good at computer lingo and processes, so make it simple. please!

Thank you!!!!

Ugh. You're totally right. I suppose you could view in 'details' mode, if that makes it any better...

Its not just photos as well, theirs been a few times when I've wanted to move a photo or video but when you drag it the usual black line doesn't show up any more:mad:. Kind of a basic feature to leave out for no apparent reason.

Yes, this feature has apparently been omitted "by design", which means it was intentionally left out--a GLARING omission!
I am an author for a hobby/modeling magazine, and I need to be able to rearrange my photos in a cohesive series of "steps"--assembly, preparation, painting, finishing, etc, and the lack of the ability to move thumbnails into order makes my computer, for all practical purposes, worthless to me for my work.

I sincerely hope that the Windows team comes up with a fix for this in the next month or so, or I willl be forced to resell my Asus netbook and purchase one the runs XP. And THAT would seriously piss me off.
