I am using Waterfox (A 64 Bit version of Firefox)
And I feel that the music I play on YouTube is not loud enough.
I realize Windows is capping the audio played by the browser when I watch YouTube.
However when I use another website this issue does not occur.
Here is a photo of the problem: I am watching a YouTube video in this picture.

Youtube uses the Adobe Flash Player. Many audio problems reported with Flash. Uninstalling/reinstalling the Flash player usually takes care of the audio problems. However, I know nothing about the browser you are using and its compatibility with Flash.

Another browser as suggested may be the answer.

Sounds like a Youtube flash cookie issue to me. Youtube remembers your settings for volume and stores that information in a flash cookie.

Edit: Just a note to say that flash cookies are available across all browsers so if you change seiings using one browser the flash cookie affects all other browsers too.

The next test is the html5 player. See if you can turn it off in each browser, or go here to make the change via YT: https://www.youtube.com/html5

Re: Flash Cookies.

Ignore my earlier comments as they don't apply to HTML5 playback.

How are you using the HTML5 player on Youtube? Is it via the "Request HTML5 URL or even via an add on?"

If so - try this.

Waterfox about:config preferences.

Set media.mediasource.enabled to true

Right-click an empty part of the screen in the values list and create New > Boolean

Give it the name media.mediasource.ignore_codecs and set to true.

Restart Watefox.

Visit this page: https://www.youtube.com/html5

You will notice that there's no need to request the HTML5 player.
