Recently, ive been watching some anime. as it happens, on the 23rd, my computer "crashes" after 30 min of streaming videos. my screen hangs for a few seconds and goes black, but doesnt restart. now, a week later, it seems that windows is starting to get a bit sluggy, windows start up takes about 15 seconds longer, Windows has been crashing a lot lately, my nvidia driver has been crashing, steam has been crashing, etc etc.

Ive tried opening the crash dump file, but it wont open for me and i havent found any sources to help me with it.

Ive also tried uploading the memory.dmp file, but it keeps giving me the "access denied" bull crap. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dell XPS 15
Intel i7 740
nvidia 435M 2 gb dedicated
4 gbs of ram

From the scant info you issues seem to be video related (BC 116) but we need the DMP files to be sure

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.
