Hey guys,

I have an issue with my Asus UL30VT. Equipped with the nvidia geforce g210. I am pretty sure it is either a driver or hardware issue related to the video card.

so whenever i play certain videos (on youtube or local from my hard drive) my computer will restart and i get an unexpected error shutdown notification when i boot into windows (after the restart).

this happens very rarely (out of all the video files i played only 1 does this) but will happen every time when playing the same video.

when playing the same youtube videos and local videos using the integrated intel video (my laptop has switchable graphics). It does not shutdown.

there are no official updates for the nvidia driver, i plan on using a moded driver and report back.

attached are the dump files related to the problem.

thanks,
Homamkeh

Hi,
Please read this article for more detail on the stop code related to your BSODs:
http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html
As the article suggest, if all solution doesn't work, you might want to try different graphic card (Perhaps borrow from friend or borrow at store that let you return later)

First thing to try is always reinstall the driver. When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.
