Just thought I would start a new thread and include this error notice in the title for additional
help.

I have my updates set to search for updates but let me choose when to download...
Yesterday I was downloading the latest cumulative IE11 update 3160005 and it reached
about 85 %, then stopped....a few minutes later I received the failed to install
error 8007ee2 which MS says indicates a problem with their servers....I noticed that when my download stopped proceeding my modem internet service light turned from green to red stayed that way for about 5 seconds and then turned green again...This situation NEVER happens with any other servers EXCEPT for MS servers.

Why do you install these IE11 updates? I hid all IE updates
Are they really needed if I never use IE? I have IE8 installed on my laptop but rarely use it.

I do have occasion to use IE11 and just to be as safe as possible I want it fully updated,
that being said I think that error would have come up on ANY update including the other security updates I would have tried to download.
