Hey!
I been trying to fix this problem for a good year or so now, ignoring it at first but now I just want to get it fixed.
I run the windows update and I get the error found 800B0100, windows update encountered an unknown error.

I looked all over online and even saw someone else with this same problem but it seems everyone has their own specific problem so I dont want to copy what someone else has done.
Installing SP1 (KB976932) Error 800B0100

I installed the SURT Tool and ran it and installed it. I ran the SFC SCAN and it did not find any integrity violations.

I attached the CBS.zip and if you need any other information let me know.

I've uploaded afile - ojmaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive

Please downloadand save it.

Right-click onthe downloaded file, and select Extract all…

Extract to thedefault location - which will create a new folder ojmaa in the same place.

Open this folder- there should be two folders inside it (Manifests, and Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to thefolder

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Andthe content of the manifestsfolder (.manifest files) into this folder:

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests

Nowrun the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Postthe new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Amazing work NoelDP. It looks to be installing KB976932 right now. I am very grateful for helping me. I don't know what kind of magic you did but it did the trick. Saved me, I was going to reinstall windows but now i dont have to.
