i got WindowsUpdate_8024000E error when i update windows... plzz help me for this.. :o

You may want to run System File Checker(SFC) scan

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

1) Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.

2) Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.

3)If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue

4) At the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow

This error can occur because Windows Update is not correctly installed on your computer or there is any component that is failing. To do this, I recommend you visit the following link:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058>

Run the FixIt that there is, then reboot your system and try again to download updates and install the same.

A TIP: Temporarily disable your antivirus when you go to download and install updates.

DellAbhishekV ... i do this too but nothing happend.. same error...

i think i should install windows 7 again... i like windows 7 home professional edition.. its simple...

As you are still facing issues, therefore, the best option would be to reinstall the Windows. I would request you to kindly backup the data on your system before formatting the hard drive and reinstalling the Windows.
