To whom it may concern.

I've been having trouble installing Internet Explorer 11 on the HP Pavilion Media Center a1612n desktop. It keeps giving me errors. The last error I had was the Error 9C59.

I am sending you some files to look at. I will try to install IE11 again and let everyone know. Please help me. Thank you.

As you are new and your first post. You have done well with the accompanying files. I haven't looked at your files, however, the 9C59 error is an often reported (and resolved) problem installing I.E.11. Suggest you do a forum search and look over the fixes, as you will probably find the fix for yours.

Your first two attachments are shortcuts - not the files they point to.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file

Sorry - you slipped through the net!

The CheckSUR log you posted is incomplete - but still shows one corrupt file.
Please run the CheckSUR tool again and ensure that it completes before posting the new CheckSUR.log file.

Sorry it took so long to reply. After I took some time to think. I did a clean install on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I installed lots of updates including IE11. I did not have anymore errors. Thank you again for your help. I appreciate it.
