Everytime i go to update windows, i get error code when trying to do update for framework 4.0. I have been trying to fix this for a while now, and i have tried microsoft fix it tool, and many other of the microsoft tools that they have and none of them have worked.
If thefile is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files untilthe final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately afterzipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for anumber of reasons)
Pleasealso post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file
