Windows Update KB302477 Will Not Install (Hasn't worked in a month)

This update has been causing my issues for the past month or so now, and has been making my computer freeze up fairly badly even more recently.

I read some solutions, such as trying a manual update since this seems to be a broken update released by Windows, however that did not work.

I'd appreciate some help as soon as possible, please. It's becoming unbearable and frustrating to use my computer.

Hello Xylis look I found this and it gives a few options and in one reply it mentions that it doesn't work on 32bit systems now you have only the very basics in the specs for your machine is I don't know really what you have got - except that it is a computer.

I've tried these solutions, but to no avail. If someone can mention to me how to list my specs properly, I'll gladly do so if it helps.

If so.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)
