Hi there,

Windows update keeps sending me reminders for updates I want to disregard, particularly "Windows Malicious Software Tool". Is there any way to tell the system once I un-check that particular update that I don't want it and don't desire to be prompted to download it all the time?

Cheers! :D

All you need do is go to Windows Updates and right-click the update in question then choose Hide.

If you later decide you want to install the update just click 'Restore hidden updates'.

HA HA, easy when you know how huh!? :p
