One of you, did suggested to use a Windows update utility and it worked for that time. Now, it keep coming back again and again

How can I determine witch Windows update keep causing problem. How can I avoid that.

Anytime I need to turn off my PC, I need to remove the automatic update.

Any help appreciated

I recommend turning off Automatic Updates and installing Windows Updates manually.
Go to Start > Control Panel > System & Security > Windows Update > Turn Automatic Updates On or Off
Then choose "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download or install them."
Also uncheck "Give me recommended Updates the same way I get Important Updates"

Windows will now inform you that updates are available and you can go to WU to install them.
Recommended Updates will now show in a separate list called Optional Updates.

In a problem situation like yours you could install the updates one at a time, taking note of the KB number as you go. Then you will know which one is causing the problem.

Note: Updates that come through automatically unchecked in WU are generally meant to be installed alone.

Hope that helps

I did manually, one by one the update and the XML de Microsoft Visual Studio*2010 (KB2251489) seem to be the problem

Here is a couple things you could do:

First, you could hide the update and forget about it. Right click on the update and choose "hide update". This is particularly true if you do not have Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 installed on your system.

Or, you could try and update Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 from inside the program. If successful there, the update in Windows Update will disappear.

Beyond that I would have to ask the other folks here what the best course of action would be.
