Hello,

My windows update has not been downloading/installing anything for a few weeks now, and is always using about 25 percent of my CPU. I just did a SCF scan and here are the results. It did say something was corrupt.

Here is the Log

EDIT: I no longer have a problem. I was doing a bunch of things and then finally noticed that shutdown button had that little symbol that said it would install updates. I guess the reason why my WU download was always at 0kb was because the files were all there.

No more problems, however the scan still said something was corrupt, i would really appreciate it if someone looked through and see what i'm missing.

Here's the final few lines of the SFC output...
Code:
Line 6494: 2016-09-02 22:48:04, Info CSI 00000339 [SR] Repairing 2 components

Line 6498: 2016-09-02 22:48:04, Info CSI 0000033c [SR] Repairing corrupted file [ml:58{29},l:56{28}]"\??\C:\Windows\system32\wbem"\[l:18{9}]"aeinv.mof" from store
Line 6516: 2016-09-02 22:48:04, Info CSI 0000033f [SR] Repair complete
Line 6517: 2016-09-02 22:48:04, Info CSI 00000340 [SR] Committing transaction

...so SFC thinks it's repaired the error.
The reason it says it's repairing 2 errors but only one shows in the log is that this file is under dual ownership - it is pointed to from two locations in the OS - and so it gets a double-count.

If you run SFC again it should show as being clear.

Tomat0, just a little suggestion.

Reboot and then do the sfc /scannow again. Sometimes SFC fixes problems on a reboot.

I will go back to watching.
