Windows update has been switching itself off originaly I tried https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/971058/how-do-i-reset-windows-update-components and Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online. and "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update" /v AUOptions /t REG_DWORD /d 0 / fsc config wuauserv start= auto. Hi iut044,

can you confirm which AV your currently running,
If its Avast please uninstall it for the moment, if not had you had it on your machine.
if you uninstall it DO SO in Safe mode
reboot
run
SURT again post the reults.

I do have a fix but want to make sure uninstalling it doesnt changes anything

Yes I had avast installed and unistalled it in safe mode following your request. Having to attach files due to many characters.

Thanks for that,

Now please place the attached file on your DESKTOP

both FRST and fixlist should both be on your desktop
Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
Press the Fix button.
The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.

once completed please run SURT and post the log
