Windows Update virus

okay i readed some antivirus sites, f-secure and more and found a Windows update virus!!!! All windows computers is in danger..
Is it safe to update with Windows updater?

please give cites - as far as I am aware a computer has to be infected and effectively hosed, before the WU can bring in malware.

Ah - the Flame vulnerability.
This hasn't yet been seen in the wild, as far as I know, and is due to be patched on Tuesday, via Windows Updates :)

p.s. MS has already released a patch for the certificates involved - again via WU.
