Windows Updates Download Files

Hi, I have downloaded all the update files required for my version of W7 from the 'Microsoft Update Catalogue'. Most of the updates are a .msu package but I have three which are .msu and also have two .exe files which I have download as well.
My question is, concerning the updates which have the .msu and .exe files, will I need keep the .exe files with the .msu file for install or can the .exe files be disregarded?

If you downloaded them from MS, then there should be no problems.
Your system would have done it for you anyway and would have ignored any that were superceeded.
