Window's updates errors, code 80073712 and code 9c47

I seem to be having an issue with windows updates installing, im stuck at 14 important updates, and it says some updates were not installed, and gives me error code 80073712 and code 9c47.

i was down with the flu for a couple days but im doing what you said in the last post now. ill post the results when it all gets done running.

You have MAJOR problems.
I'm not by any means certain that it's fixable short of at least a repair install.
I'll have to ask for a second opinion on it - hang tough!

My second opinion agree with me - it's not practical to attempt to fix it manually.
Your best bet is a repair install - but make sure that you've backed up your data to external storage first, as it may fail.
