Windows Updates for removed software
I no longer use Office 2003 (updated to Office 2007) but Windows Updates keeps telling me I have updates for Office 2003.
How do I tell Windows Updates to stop this nonsense?

Try running the windows installer cleanup utility and remove any office 2003 entries.

Please note this tool is no longer supported by MS.
Another thing you can try, run CCleaner registry cleaner to remove any leftover entries.
If nothing works, you can just right click on the offending update and select "Hide".
