Windows Updates will not run - Win & professional 64bit

The cleanup tool should do that anyway - but yes, please.

Uggg - How frustrating.

OK, I removed Endpoint and then installed the Clean Wipe Tool and ran it per their instructions. It says it's cleaned out.

I rebooted. I still get the same error in windows update.

SOmeone mentioned this issue could be a wooly bugger - whatever that means. Not sure if that was an expression or a maleware term.

It's a fairly good description - Access Denied errors can come from a multitude of causes, and it can be a nightmare pinning them down.

So now what? I am the administrator on this machine and on our network. We are running a barracuda filter but I've disabled that and tried as well and still the same issue.

I mean at this point I'm considering just backing everything up an doing a fresh install of WIndows - because I know this was working before. Of course I don't want to do that because it's a pain as well.

I'll look it over tonight - I am home now and not in front of that computer. But I'll read the link and go back at it tomorrow.

Thanks for your help by the way.
