Is it Windows 7 you are trying to install? Have you tried downloading drivers from the HDD manufacturer's support site first? If all else fails you can always create a bootable USB flash drive, as this tutorial explains. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2432-usb-windows-7-installation-key-drive-create.html My Computer Computer Manufacturer/Model NumberHP Pavilion Elite 495UKOSWindows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-BitCPUIntel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHzMotherboardMSI 2A9C (CPU1)Memory8Gb Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHzGraphics Card(s)nVidia GeForce GTX 460 1024MB dedicated RAMSound CardRealtek HD AudioMonitor(s) DisplaysHP2310iScreen Resolution1920 x 1080Hard Drives1x1954GB Hitachi HDS22020ALA 330 (RAID), 1x1954GB Hitachi External for backup and storagePSU460WCaseHP EliteCoolingAir cooledKeyboardLogitech K750 solar-powered keyboardMouseLogitech Wireless M180 mouseInternet Speed2MbOther InfoPure Avanti Flow Internet Radio with iPod Dock, 64Gb iPod, HP USB Speakers, Sony MDR-V500 Headphones, Sony Vaio F-Series Laptop
