Windows will not load - Stuck in a loop

A friend asked me to look at their Acer laptop since it was acting up. It was riddled with viruses so I did a system restore. It is now stuck on a loop saying that Windows could not finish installation. Please restart to finish. I've restarted it several times and am still getting this message. I've used the system restore on several other computers and laptops and have not had this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Are you referring to Acer full Factory Recovery? If it fails your options if run from disks are to run it instead from boot by triggering the Recovery Partition, or vice versa: Acer Support: Recovery media and Restoring a system to factory load

If you have no disks and running Recovery partiiton has failed, then you'll either need to order Disks from Acer or find a Win7 installation DVD for Clean Reinstalling Windows 7 with Product Key on COA sticker.
